I spent maybe two hours playing Half Life 2 but I could spend six hours a night playing Day of Defeat or Counterstrike (Half Life 2 mods). When a friend mentioned that I should check out the single-player version of Call of Duty 4… I laughed out loud. The multi-player version is amazing (the best I’ve ever played)… how could the single-player version be worth playing?

As usual… I was wrong. The story is short (you play two characters trying to stop a terrorist) but very good and the action is unbelievable. The first time I saw a teammate go down I was stunned… it seemed a bit too real (although I quickly grabbed his ammo). It was very cool… just another reason to call Call of Duty 4 the best game on the market.
