Brewers: New Reliever?
Whew, the Brewers are close to deal with a solid veteran David Riske. I thought they were a bit too quick to sign a catcher after Estrada left but this gives me hope.

I was reading some comments on the Linebrink trade when I came across a great quote:

Linebrink to the White Sox?
I guess the Brewers are losing another valuable (more valuable since the Cordero loss) reliever. Scott Linebrink is heading to the White Sox.
We gained some high draft picks since Scott was a Class A free agent but it looks like Turnblow might be sitting alone in the bullpen next year.

The Milwaukee Brewers lost KoKo Cordero to the Cincinnati Reds. I’m not going to say whether or not Cordero was worth $46 million but it hurts that one of the keys to our success has just moved within the division.
