I’m off PlanetLotus (in theory…)

Mar 3, 2008

I asked Yancy Lent (the creator of PlanetLotus) to remove my blog from his Lotus Notes blog site.

Why?

I lost the will to blog. I don’t write for the masses. I write for the eight people who give me chance when they see me pop up in their RSS reader. It’s hard writing for 400 Lotus Notes admins and developers. I’ve got nothing good to say to them.

So… there will be useless crap posted to this blog again. Don’t you worry. I’m on my second web application at my job (we don’t get many web requests at my work) so I’m starting to play with cool stuff again.

I hope to be posting more soon.

I haven’t been super-public about it, but PlanetLotus has pretty much freed me from using RSS. So, I’m not sure I’ll see your postings without it, though I got to this one through technorati.

That’s cool. Thanks for letting me know. I actually get a lot of hits from people searching Google.

When I finally get into R8 here at work I might have something of value for the Lotus “sphere” but until then… I don’t want to waste valuable space/time.
